Let us first understand the importance of lungs and how crucial they are for your survival.

The lungs are an essential organ of your respiratory system that is assisting you to breathe. The human body and each and every cell in the body need oxygen to stay alive and healthy and this oxygen is supplied into your body by the respiratory system. The mechanism of taking in fresh air (oxygen) and releasing waste gas (carbon dioxide) is controlled by the respiratory system

One cannot and should not take lung diseases lightly as they can cause severe illness that can also lead to death if not addressed at the right time with an effective and corrective treatment.

Most common lung diseases symptoms

  • Breathing issues

As per WHO (World Health Organisation), respiratory diseases make up five of the 30 most common causes of death. Infants and children are more susceptible. Five of the most common causes of severe illness or death globally are caused by lung diseases.

Inhalers, medications, cutting down on smoking, a safe set of exercises, diaphragmatic breathing are some of the most common treatments prescribed by doctors today.

Types of Lung diseases

  • Asthma
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
  • Pneumonia
  • Lung cancer
  • Tuberculosis
  • Bronchitis
  • Alveoli

The above mentioned are some of the common respiratory or lung diseases. Amongst all Asthma and COPD are even more common globally causing severe illness and also death.

The airways of nasal cavities, in an Asthmatic patient, are either contracted or swollen and may produce extra mucus making it difficult to breathe and cause shortness of breath.

Types of Asthma

  • Allergic Asthma This is a condition where the patient is allergic to allergens like pollen, dust, or fumes. The patient is advised to understand and know how their allergy triggers so as to prevent an asthma attack.

  • Occupational asthma As the name suggests this condition is triggered on the job where you inhale fumes, dust, or other substances that you are sensitive to, usually this occupational asthma does not trigger while at home and that’s the best way to validate if you suffer from this condition.
  • Seasonal asthma This condition occurs only at certain times of the year, some patients feel asthmatic during winters and for some, it could be during hay fever season. These patients have prescribed medication only during that time of the year when they are affected.

  • Childhood asthma This condition is also known as pediatric asthma, if a child has an asthmatic attack it becomes difficult for the child to breathe and do normal activities, it also hampers the quality of sleep in children, and inflammation caused makes it difficult for air to pass through the airways. It has been observed that childhood asthma may also lead to COPD in adulthood.

As per Pranic Healing, lung diseases may be caused due to long term unaddressed emotional issues. These diseases could arise due to both physiological and psychological reasons; however, Chakra Healing is effective and works well in both conditions.

Common causes of Lung diseases

As per the Global Burden of Diseases (GBD) Study 2017, there were 3.2 million deaths due to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and 495 thousand deaths due to asthma. Lung diseases affect millions of people worldwide and across all ages.

The cause of Asthma could be traced down to genetics; if either parent has Asthma then the child becomes susceptible. As per the research humans who suffer from severe respiratory infections in their childhood are likely to be more affected by Asthma. A weak immune system does not have the ability to develop antibodies that fight Asthma which is also one of the common causes in a patient who has asthma.

Although there are different types of lung disorders there is no limitation as far as chakra healing is concerned as they cover almost all types of lung disorders since they use different protocols for every other issue.

How can Lung disorders be treated?

Doctors suggest that there is no cure available to reverse COPD, medication helps in relieving the patient from the suffering.

Some common treatments include:

  • Cutting down or quitting smoking
It helps the patient’s condition from getting bad to worse; it will slow the process of further damaging the lungs, discontinuing habit of smoking may result in complications like chronic bronchitis, emphysema, lung cancer.
  • Bronchodilator Inhalers
These are advised when the patient is facing difficulty in breathing, inhalers are given to ensure the medicine is fed directly to the lungs through your mouth to ease your breathing pattern and give you temporary relief.
  • Steroids
If the patient feels breathlessness even after using bronchodilator inhalers, they are then advised to inhale steroids. These contain a dose of corticosteroid medicine that helps reduce the inflammation in the airways.
  • Lung Therapies
    • Oxygen Therapy:
In some severe cases of COPD patients may lack oxygen in their blood. In this condition, oxygen is provided by external sources to your lungs. There are several lightweight portable devices to supply oxygen to the lungs that may be used for this therapy.
    • Pulmonary rehabilitation program:
This program educates patients about the risk involved with lung diseases; they are counseled and advised nutrition changes to improve their living conditions.
    • Surgery
Some severe cases of COPD patients are advised lung surgery, patients who find it extremely difficult to breathe normally and after trying all other forms of medication are advised surgery.
  • Alternative Therapies:
Therapies such as Yoga, acupuncture, massage, Reiki, crystal healing are some of the alternative therapies that are available.

A lot has been said and spoken in recent times about Chakra healing and its benefits to help alleviate the pain of patients suffering from lung disorders. Chakra healing is a very ancient form of healing modality, where there is a transference of energy from the universal source to the patient’s chakras. As per the Chakra healing practitioners patients could start benefiting right from the first healing session itself.

Experienced chakra healing practitioners do not indulge with your prescribed medication and offer healing sessions as a complementary therapy with your regular medication. As the condition of the patient improves gradually with healings, the dosage of their medication is reduced to a certain extent and eventually stopped with the consultation of their doctor.

Can lung disease be cured with Chakra healing?

Yes, if you are aware and pay attention to how your body behaves from a very early stage of detecting something abnormal in your breathing pattern then it is quite possible to cure or at least lessen the effects of a lung disorder. Many times it gets noticed too late or in most cases, it is taken very lightly until it becomes necessary to visit a doctor.

The four major chakras that are affected are the Ajna, Throat, Back heart, and Solar plexus chakras.

  • Ajna Chakra: Also referred to as the Third eye chakra

This Chakra is located between the eyebrows and it controls the nose, pituitary gland, endocrine gland.

  • Throat Chakra: Also referred to as Vishuddha chakra

This Chakra is located in the throat area and controls the throat, thyroid, parathyroid gland, and lymphatic system.

This Chakra is located at the back of the heart and controls the corresponding organs such as the lungs, heart, and thymus gland.

  • Solar Plexus Chakra: Also referred to as Manipura chakra

Front Solar Plexus: This Chakra is located in the hollow area between the ribs and controls the Diaphragm, pancreas, liver, stomach, and intestines

Back Solar Plexus: This Chakra is located at the back of the front solar plexus chakra. This chakra controls the same organs as the front solar plexus chakra.

Conclusion

There are more Chakras in the human body than the ones mentioned above, the above chakras are usually treated for lung disorders however Chakra healing practitioners scan to check if the other chakras are imbalanced too, sometimes if a problem is unattended for a long time it may affect the other chakras also and hence requires attention.
